Denon AVR-X1400H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver

Enjoy immersive multi-channel sound with theDenon AVR-X1400H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It delivers up to 80W of power at 8 Ohms and features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility for object-based audio support. Built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay support allows the receiver to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources, such as smartphones and tablets. With six HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, this receiver can act as a video switcher for your HD source components. It will pass through 4K signals along with HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR formats. The receiver also has a USB port for accessing media stored on USB flash drives. Audyssey MultiEQ XT sound optimization will calibrate the receiver to your speakers and room setup for a tailored listening experience.

HEOS Wireless Multi-Room Music Streaming

Built-in HEOS technology allows the AVR-X1400H to become part of your HEOS wireless multi-room system, allowing you to enjoy your favorite music anywhere around your home. Share music stored on your home network, Internet radio, or streaming services, with HEOS wireless speakers or other HEOS-capable receivers throughout the house. It's all controlled by the free HEOS app, which can be installed on as many compatible smartphones and tablets as you like. The app gives you multi-room audio control, allowing you to command music in every room from any HEOS device; you can play different music from different sources in every room or group several rooms together and play the same song. The HEOS app will let you enjoy music from multiple streaming services, including Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn Internet radio, Amazon Music Unlimited, and more, or you can use the HEOS app to stream from your phone, USB stick, computer, or NAS drive on your home network.

Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos surround sound technology dispenses with channel-based coding in favor of more advanced object-based coding, giving the sound designer the ability to precisely place sounds anywhere in the 3-dimensional space. The AVR-X1400H features the ability to connect a 5.1-channel surround sound speaker system with additional overhead speakers, or additional Dolby Atmos-certified up-firing speakers.

DTS:X

DTS:X brings the home theater experience to new heights with its immersive object-based audio technology, which removes the bounds of channels. The flexibility of objects allows for sound to be scaled large or small and moved around the room, leading to a richer, more immersive audio experience.

4K Ultra HD, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HDCP 2.2 Support

Featuring six HDMI ports, including one located on the front panel, plus an HDMI output, the AVR-X1400H is compatible with 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz content, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, BT.2020, and HDR pass-through. It is also HDCP 2.2-compliant for 4K UHD copy-protected content. Dolby Vision pass-through is supported for enhanced contrast and color with compatible displays and content. Support for HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), the HDR format for broadcast video, is scheduled to be supported following a future firmware update.

Quad-Core 32-Bit DSP Processor

The AVR-X1400H features a quad-core 32-bit DSP processor for multi-thread processing tasks, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding, Audyssey room acoustic correction, bass management, and DSP surround simulation. The DSP chip features four 300 MHz DSP cores that can process over a billion computations per second.

High-Resolution Audio

The receiver can decode up to 24-bit/192 kHz lossless files, such as FLAC and WAV, plus ALAC/Apple Lossless, DSD 2.8 MHz (the audiophile format of SACD), and 5.6 MHz tracks. These can be played from memory devices via the front-panel USB port or network sources. MP3 and WMA files are also playable.

Built-In Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and AirPlay Capability

Featuring Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless streaming connectivity, the AVR-X1400H is equipped with a dual-antenna system to minimize interference in wireless-congested environments. Connected to the Internet through your home Wi-Fi network or with a hard-wired connection via the Ethernet port, it allows you to enjoy your favorite tracks from streaming music services such as Spotify Connect. You can also choose from thousands of Internet radio stations from around the world, and enjoy audio entertainment of virtually every genre. Integrated AirPlay lets you play your favorite tracks wirelessly from your compatible iOS device, and via network streaming, you can listen to music files stored on your home Windows computer, Mac computer, or NAS device.

Denon 2016 AVR Remote App

With the free Denon 2016 AVR Remote app for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire, you can control the receiver's operation, as well as accessing its setup menu, from your smartphone or tablet. The app also gives you access to the receiver's status display, option menus, control of Denon Blu-ray players, and an online owner's manual. Through the app, you can switch directly to the HEOS app for further control over your music contents, streaming services, and HEOS wireless multi-room control.

Discrete Amplification with Eco Mode

For enhanced realism and dynamic range, the amplifier section features discrete power devices for compatibility with a range of speakers down to four Ohms. Eco Mode adjusts the amplifier's output according to the volume level to reduce power consumption, with an on-screen Eco meter providing real-time monitoring of the power saving.

Dual Subwoofer Outputs

When positioned in different locations in the listening area, having two subwoofers instead of one will even out the low frequencies for more accurate bass nearly anywhere in the room.

Smart TV Connectivity

Using the HDMI CEC (consumer electronics control) functionality provided on some smart TVs, it's possible to control the receiver with your TV's remote. Set the receiver's "HDMI control" to on, choose the "Smart Menu" receiver control functions on the TV, and the Smart Menu home screen allows direct access to a range of receiver functions, including source and surround mode, the main setup menu, and the Quick Select "one-touch" presets.

Audyssey Silver

The Audyssey Silver suite of DSP functions includes MultEQ XT, Dynamic EQ, and Dynamic Volume. Audyssey MultEQ XT automatic room acoustic measurement and correction uses the included microphone and a test-tone sequence to calibrate your speakers to your room's acoustics to provide a smooth, natural tonal balance. Audyssey Dynamic EQ uses psychoacoustic algorithms to continually adjust tonal balance for enhanced sound quality, even at lower volume levels. Audyssey Dynamic Volume smooths out volume jumps, such as from loud commercials, for an easier viewing experience.

Audyssey MultEQ Editor App

This receiver supports the Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, which allows you to customize the sound more precisely to your room and your personal preferences. The app allows you to view the speaker detection results and the before and after results of the Audyssey calibration; you can then edit the resulting Audyssey curve for each channel pair, adjust the overall EQ frequency rolloff for each channel pair, and adjust the target sound curve high-frequency rolloff. This app is available for purchase from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon App Store.

Multi-Source/Multi-Room

With the AVR-X1400H, it's possible to enjoy 5.1-channel surround in one room, while another zone plays another source, such as a CD or streaming audio. Either connect a pair of stereo speakers to the multi-room amplified outputs, or connect a separate stereo amp and speakers to the Zone 2 pre-outs, allowing full 7-channel surround sound in the main room with stereo sound in the second.

Designed for Ease of Setup and Use

The AVR-X1400H features a graphical on-screen display that's designed to be clear and easy to understand as it guides you through the setup process to ensure the correct configuration. The Setup Assistant and the included Quick Start Guide lead you step-by-step to optimize critical settings for the best possible sound and video quality with your system.

Quick Select Functions

There are four Quick Select Function buttons on the front panel and the remote, letting you choose your preferred input setup and sound mode for your favorite sources. You can also set up your favorite Internet radio station on a Quick Select button.

Front-Panel USB Port

With the front-panel USB port, you can connect a USB drive and listen to files from MP3 to DSD (2.8/5.6 MHz) and lossless FLAC (up to 24-bit/192 kHz).

The ZENSOR PICO is an ultra compact high quality speaker with a very small footprint but a vast impact. Using technologies known from the award winning ZENSOR series in a perfect match between woofer and cabinet volume the ZENSOR PICO delivers astonishing detailed, coherent and full sound.

Despite its small size it fills the room and delivers a surprising bass performance. Though the ZENSOR PICO is about 30% smaller than the ZENSOR 1 in size, it is no smaller in sound. Place it close to the wall or directly on the wall for optimum performance.

Dali ZENSOR Vokal

Blood is thicker than water! Naturally, ZENSOR VOKAL is created specifically to match that timbre and tonal balance of its family.

The centre loudspeaker covers an essentially important sound zone, since this is where the majority of dialogue in movie soundtracks is to be found. ZENSOR VOKAL is engineered to cover this zone, thereby establishing a truly realistic voice- and surround experience.

The sonic integration of ZENSOR VOKAL, which should ideally be placed on a shelf below your TV screen, is highly convincing as is the voice matching to the other models of the range.

For high-powered surround solutions, ZENSOR VOKAL including a front mounted bass reflex port is a perfect match to the DALI SUB E-12F.

Dali ZENSOR Sub E9 F

The launch of the DALI SUB E-9 F marks a new stage of what is possible at this level of subwoofers!

The new subwoofer from DALI features a 9" woofer, capable of moving lots of air with power and precision. The cone is made from pure aluminium for maximum stiffness and a becoming exterior. Furthermore, the heavy magnet system wields a massive 4-layer, long-stroke voice coil.

All in all, the heavy-duty abilities of this "motor system" ensure that the woofer always follows the signal from the amplifier!

The heart of this subwoofer is the 170W RMS Class D amplifier with a highly linear response. Embracing a classic DALI trademark, it simply acts as a total low frequency extension of your AV system. The result is a powerful, wellbalanced bass reproduction and flawless integration with your speakers. In addition, the integrated limiter helps protecting your subwoofer against overloading.

The back plate of SUB E-9 F features controls for volume adjustment, phase, and upper cut-off frequency, while the power on/off function works automatically via signal detection. And with the options for LFE or LINE inputs, this subwoofer easily accompanies any AV set up.

SUB E-9 F is elevated from the floor by cone shaped rubber feet, while a down-firing bass port allows positioning directly against the wall.

The DALI SUB E-9 F is recommended as compliment to the KUBIK FREE as well as the compact models of the ZENSOR and FAZON series. On top of this it is compatible with all DALI loudspeakers as the perfect completion of a DALI stereo or surround set up.
